Origin labelling for honey blends on Slovenia’s presidency agenda: ‘EU producers can hardly compete with imported honey’

When Slovenia takes on the presidency of the Council of the EU later this year, it wants to make origin labelling for honey blends more transparent. This would benefit producers and consumers alike, says the countryâs food and agricultural chief, Darja Majkovič.
