FAO's global food snapshot: Record sugar production, trade spat instability & higher food bills

World sugar production is set to reach its highest ever level, even exceeding global demand, while trade disputes are causing uncertainty and price plunges, according to a report published by the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).
