Food reformulation in Portugal boasts healthy predictions, yet ‘small’ influence on premature deaths

A study examining Portugalâs food reformulation targets reveals a predicted decline in non-communicable disease mortality. However, researchers say Portugal is âcurrently not on trackâ to achieve its impending 2025 objective of reducing premature deaths by 25%.
